Camp Ucandoit!

Camp UcandoitAgain in the summer of 2011, Camp Ucandoit will be part of our summer daycamp programs. All our camps will enable chilildren with developmental disabilities to enjoy an outdoor recreational experience for those between the ages of six and twelve.

We encourage families with children who do not require a one-on-one aide or can provide their own aide and who will not need medication to be dispensed while they are in camp to apply for any of our camps. There will be no doctor or nurse in attendance at our camps but there is always a staff member on duty who is trained in CPR and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer.

Coach Mitch will be back again to share his sports activities and Stephen Winglass will also return with his love of everything that creates fun. Stephen has been a performer all his life and is currently on his way to earning his bachelor's degree in theatre productions at the University of New Hampshire.

Camp Ucando itStephen has recently been apart of his first professional show in Portsmouth NH, The Sound of Music. Other shows he has done in the past year are UNH Dance Company, Beauty and the Beast, All Shook Up, and Electra the rock opera. Stephen uses all his theatrical skills to encourage kids enjoy themselves at whatever they participate in. Register for the camps of your choice on our website.

NH state law requires that all children attending camp have a record of inoculations and a physical exam, signed by a physician for our files. Health forms should be brought in on the first day of camp. The physical exam date must be dated within two years of the child’s attendance at camp. If you are able to have your child's doctor fax a health form to us, our fax number is 603 887-8364.
