Daycamps
Sandlot Sports was created in 2005 to meet the sports needs of families in southern New Hampshire. In 2006, a band shell was added next to the sports field and "the arts" arrived at Sandlot.
Mitchell Mencis, the owner of Sandlot Sports has been working with youth sports programming for ten years creating daycamps for area youth. Our goal is to provide opportunities for local athletes and those skilled in the arts to encourage children to participate in an activity which they have come to love.
Summer is an ideal time for children to enjoy the outdoors, keep active, learn about a variety of sports, dance and drama camps and get together with children their own age. While exercising and moving their bodies, they learn the value of dedication, commitment, working under pressure and thinking quickly on their feet. They learn about the agony of defeat and the ecstasy of winning. They also learn that whether you win or lose, the fun is in the playing and the planning.

Things to Bring
Children should bring a water bottle, a bathing suit, towel and a bag lunch including mid-morning snack. Children should be sun screened prior to arrival and staff will re-screen as needed. Please have your child wear appropriate footwear and bring equipment for selected daycamp and please label as many of their items as possible.
We also have a CLUB PLAYMATES SUMMER SPECIAL - Daycare for up to 45 hours/week between 7 AM and 6 PM for $165.00 per week. This special is for those entering First Grade. Club Playmates includes a Daycamp (choose from those listed above), swimming in our heated inground pool and daycare, a total of 45 hours for $165.00. This will enable parents to have an additional 20 hours of free daycare available before or after the daycamp. If you need daycare for 55 hours during the week, the cost is $175.00 per week.
**** NEW RATES FOR THOSE ENTERING 8TH GRADE****
Children who are entering 8th grade will have a reduced rate at our camps of $100 for 45 hours or less and $125 for more than 45 hours. We are open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer this reduced rate because we recognize that 8th graders need to have recreational activities in the summer, are older than many children who come to daycamps and parents still need them to be in a supervised environment. Those entering high school are eligible to be Counselors in Training (CITs)
