Mitch Mencis, Director
Mitchell Mencis has been directing our sports camps for the past seven years. Coach Mitch is a graduate of Northeastern University where he studied Business Entrepreneurship. He continues his involvement in sports through coaching, refereeing, and plays on several teams throughout the year. In September, Mitchell will be a 6th grade Mathematics Teacher at Timberlane Regional Middle School and where he coaches soccer. Mitchell is also a baseball coach at Timberlane Regional High School. Mitchell can't wait to bring the joy of sports as well as the arts to your childrens' lives.
Linda Meehan, Consultant
Linda Meehan has been the Director of Playmates Learning Center, the parent company of Sandlot Sports & Entertainment for twenty years. She has been a advocate for New Hampshire children all her life. In 2001, Mrs. Meehan was recognized by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association as the recipient of the South Central Region Champion for Children.
In 2004, Mrs. Meehan was recognized as the Brenda Abbott Outstanding Volunteer of the Year and in 2003, Mrs. Meehan was named Citizen of the Year in the Town of Sandown, New Hampshire. Mrs. Meehan has a Bachelor's degree in Science and Master's degrees in Social Work and in Education.
Sandy Dooley, Assistant Director
Mrs. Dooley has been working with Playmates children for 15 years. She teaches kindergarten, preschool, and oversees the before and after school kids. Mrs. Dooley encourages outdoor physical activity for children and activities that encourage children to use critical thinking skills. Fun in the summer is also important for social and emotional development and she will make certain that campers have lots of fun while attending camp.
Sarah Stafford, Swim Instructor

Steven Winglass, Director, Theater Arts
Stephen has been a performer all of his life and his goal has always been the stage of Broadway. He has a Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from the University of New Hampshire and hopes to bring his enthusiasm for the arts for his third summer at Sandlot Sports and Entertainment. He looks forward to educating your children on the principals of auditioning, acting, dancing, stage composure, and is looking forward to another exciting summer down on the bandshell. Coach Stephen is also a certified Lifeguard and is CPR and First Aid trained.
Lauren Paley, Assistant Director, Theater Arts
Lauren has been assisting our Musical Theater camp for 4 years. She loves to sing, dance and act and is passionate about sharing this with children. Lauren also enjoys working with children all year long. She has enjoyed being a Big Buddy, teaching Spanish in the Pollard Afterschool program and a Hebrew school teacher at Temple Emanu-El in Haverhill, MA. She also tutored Math for 2 years. When she is not singing or dancing, Lauren is cooking, baking, hiking, biking or kayaking or making crafts.
Tom Sullivan, Coach Sully
Coach Sully is a student at Timberlane Regional High School and has returned to Sandlot for his second year. In addition to working with children, Coach Sully enjoys basketball, soccer, volleyball, camping and riding his bike. This fall, Coach Sully will be playing soccer at the high school.
Logan Nicolaisen, Coach Logan
Coach Logan has been helping at Sandlot Sports for three years. He enjoys see the children return each summer. Coach Logan loves being outside in the summer and makins sure that the campers are having lots of fun. When he is not at Sandlot, Logan is dirt biking, using his remote control plane, hiking or rock climbing.
